Amazing Scottish Tours
The variety of what I provide is huge, from a day trip round food producers or maybe a visit to a farmers market and then a cooking workshop, to a full scale food and whisky tour
Look at my blog for ideas on the whisky and food trip
Day trip in Fife
Here’s a typical day trip in Fife
I will collect you from your hotel in a comfortable car or minibus depending on your group size and visit a cheese dairy, meet the maker and owner and be shown the cheese making process followed by a tasting. We will then make the short trip to Ardross Farm shop meet the owning family and have a farm tour.
Lunch at the pretty fishing village of Crail with freshly prepared crab (weather permitting!) and admire the unique architecture and harbour of this ancient burgh.
In the afternoon a walk to forage for wild foods or along the beach. Visit the famous village of Pittenweem and stop off at the Cocoa tree where we meet the owner and share her chocolate making skills.
Lastly we can stop off in St Andrews if desired on our way to The Balgove Larder for a farm visit with the owner and barbeque supper with their own superb steaks!
I work regularly with the golf tourism world in St Andrews, to give visitors an alternative to wall to wall golf!
